@iEmby The Vegas Pro folder in AppData\Roaming is saved in the export, but not the one in the Local folder, So it would be great to also have the Vegas Pro folder in AppData\Local also saved... example: C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro.

Ok will add it in next update sir..

[My Documents]\Documents\Vegas Script Menu\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\22.0\Script Menu\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vegas Pro\22.0\Script Menu\
C:\ProgramData\Vegas Pro\22.0\Script Menu\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\Script Menu\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vegas Pro\Script Menu\
C:\ProgramData\Vegas Pro\Script Menu\

And then all the same folders with "Application Extensions" replacing "Script Menu".

[My Documents]\Documents\Vegas Application Extensions\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\22.0\Application Extensions\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vegas Pro\22.0\Application Extensions\
C:\ProgramData\Vegas Pro\22.0\Application Extensions\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\
C:\ProgramData\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\

Also note all of the ones with "22.0" in the path will only show up in that version so if importing/exporting with another version of VEGAS, you'd need to change the "22.0" to the version of VEGAS being used. The ones without a version number will show up in all versions of VEGAS installed.

@iEmby And to add to jetdv mentions, Here is another major location for the Vegas script folder:

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 2X.0\Script Menu

You should never modify the "Program Files" folder... That's where all of the "default" scripts included with VEGAS are installed.

Agreed.. I was aware of this location but didn't include due to same reason.

After all.. in my opinion, the best location for both scripts & extensions is My Documents in c drive.

Yes, that is always the correct recommended advice.... But as an advanced user, there is where i personally store, adjust and modify all my Vegas Pro scripts, for a reason.

@iEmby Still, no problem if not included.... Again, thanks for your patience.

@Steve_Rhoden but if you want your script available to all versions of VEGAS installed, they need to be in one of the common locations anyway (such as my favorite - my documents).

It's also much more difficult to save/edit scripts in the Program Files as Windows does NOT want you modifying that folder and you always have to tell Windows - yes I really do want to save/copy there. Even then, I've seen times where it would not let me save a modified version and I had to save it elsewhere and then copy it over.
