Just saw today that Pioneer has released new firmware to burn into your Pioneer -03 and -04 burners. They say it's important because there are new blanks coming out that will allow 4x burning (in new models only, sorry) and if those blanks are used in the -03 and -04 burners with the current firmware, the drive will be trashed.
