Manual

Hello all, Is it not possible to get a manual from Sonic
Foundry for Vegas Pro. I called and they said they dont
have hardcopies of their manual they post for download. She
asked If I didn't get one with my box,,yes I did but we all
know that one is worthless. She said they were printing
smaller manuals to save paper and I would have to print it
at home. (my cost not theirs) Not only is my printer a
piece of junk but I dont think it would make it through 191
pages. It would be nice to have a quick reference at hand.

Take the file to Kinko's and have them print it double sided and
bound. I did that with the CuBase manual a couple of years ago and it
worked very well. You might even be able to get them to download it
on site so you don't have to cart it around on a Zip.

Worth a shot.

FWIW

KAC...

Chris,

I appreciate paper too - and when you spend this much you should at
least have the choice to buy a real manual - but the help files via
IE 5 are very handy. What is your take on them?

on line help is a good idea, but I've installed internet on an other
computer ( the one that can download anything without the fear of a
virus ).

So anybody can tell me how to use a direct X plugin with vegas, I
can't find any help on the very lite manual.
