Since I just put up a tut on the subject, it may not be fair for me to openly speculate...

But I suspect that Kelly's method is very different from those I've posted. ;-)

It certainly is giving me some ideas...

OK, i'm done program tweaking for tonight. Here's what i've got so far: screen shot

This software takes a background image (such as a map) and lets animates a travel route on top of it, saving the animation as a series of .BMP stills.

WARNING! Please read the readme1.0.txt file very carefully. This should be considered an alpha release. It probably has tons of bugs and crashes it in. Oh well, if i may say so myself, it's not too bad for only one day of work on it.
