Markers and Regions

You'd think I should have sussed this out by now but I guess we all have something to learn even if it's something real basic.
This does realte more to the audio work that I do but it's not specifically audio so I'll try here.
I go along the TL and put markers at every break. Then I go back along the TL and using the markers as references mark out regions to precisely define the bits I want to render out.
But here's the problem, the damn markers now git in the way. If I dbl click within a region the selection ends at the next marker, I don't get the whole region, this isn't the end of world but it sure hinders working quickly. I could just delete the markers but again the only way I can see to do this is manually.
Maybe I'm missing something that I should have learnt a long time ago, maybe this is something pretty basic that needs a bit of attention?
And one last thing and I think this has come up before, having marked out a region / loopable area it'd sure be nice to be able to have playback stop at the end of the region, just so we can check it before we render the region out. You can make it loop so Vegas is checking for this as it playsback, should be easy enough to do.

Bob.

Right click on region marker and choose "Select Region."

You can also double-click on either region tag.

It's probably because it's only 8:20.

Sometimes I can't remember the names of people I've known all my life. It's embarrassing. I know it starts with an M and there's a holiday for her coming up this Sunday but... it's a premature "Senior Moment"

Ah well.
