Markers didn't appear in DVD Architect

I complied a trainee cirus show for a friend with a training school.

I created videos of each act so they could use them as training tools. Then i joined all the clips in a 'compilation' within Vegar pro 11. I added markers at the start of each clip with marker titles.

I then renderered the video and the audio - but when they were imported to DVD Archicect 5.2 ... the markers were lost, and i had to re-marker the clips in DVD Architect (which doesn't have the same finite control on placement).

Where did I go wrong? Why were the clip markers not imported with the rest of the video so i could use them as 'scene markers'.

Any advise?

Sorry to ask the obvious, but when you rendered in Vegas did you enable the check-box entitled "Save project markers in media file"?

Also, the default batch render script doesn't save markers to the mpeg.

You can magnify the timeline in DVDA as in Vegas and set the marker almost at picturelevel.
I always set markers in DVDA because then I´m able to change them later.
As far as I know you can´t get rid of markers saved during render if you want.

Aje, are you sure about that? When i import markers from Vegas i'm able to move them around by dragging them.

Right-click on a marker and delete it. Be sure to use the "Save Markers" button afterward.

Also, the default batch render script doesn't save markers I used to have a script for this back in Vegas 8.0 but have managed to lose it. Anyone know where I can find it?

To answer my own question...looks like you can do this with Vegasaur, which I already own. :-)

There is a batch render script that does the marks but it always needs to be updated for new vegas versions: here.

I don't understand why SCS doesn't put a check box in the batch render script to give you the option though.
