masking/bezier, rotoscoping question

I've got some footage of a tv on a table and I want to cut out everything but the screen of the tv. I've used the bezier or rotoscope tool, have cut out what I need, and things look good in preview. However, when I render to a new track nothing is cut out.
Just a little puzzled why the preview and render are so different and what I need to do to get this effect.

Are you using build 160? There was a problem with an earlier build messing with alpha channels. What you see in the preview is what you should see in the final render.
You can also render that area to a new track to help trace the problem down.

Thanks, Spot. I'll have to check on that and see if it makes a difference. In the meantime, the whole reason I was trying to do this was so I could get Wax to work on this part of the project and I thought the masking was the problem. Turns out it wasn't and things are working fine with wax now. These Wax and frameserver programs are very interesting and worth a closer look. Funny how they're not talked about as much as I would think.
