Master FX window resizing

Is there a way to keep the Master FX window at a fixed size? The window appears to resize itself around precisely around the active FX plug-in, making it hard to see the chain, meaning that the whole windows has to be resized each time a plug-in is selected. Really quite annoying... and I'm sure Vegas in earlier years didn't do this. Is there any way around it? Thanks.

Options - Preferences - Enable Automatic FX Window Resizing (Uncheck that option)

Thanks, I have done that, but unfortunately it still does it. The Master FX window just wraps itself around whatever size the FX plug-ins interface is. Strange..

It has always been like that.. and it is very annoying and hinders workflow. The Fx window size can be resized but usually the plug-in's UI cannot and range in size from too big to too small

Yes, it really does hinder workflow. In the past, while at EA, I was a bit of a Vegas power user (we're talking much earlier versions!) and this was never an issue back then - at least not up to Vegas 11. Although that might just be because you could dock the window. That would certainly help here, making it dockable. It's a bit of a dealbreaker for me, as I have very long plug-in chains on the Master bus and I'm spending a lot of time extending the size of the window over and over just to navigate everything. :(

You are referring to the audio plugins...correct? Video effects should work properly. We know that the audio effects are not properly following the preference setting. We should have a resolution to this in a future update/release.

Yes, that's right - audio plug-ins. Glad it's a known issue and there may be a fix for it. Thanks.
