Matchaspect.js not working?

May sound silly, but I am having trouble using the Matchaspect.js to crop all events simultaneously. It's not doing anything when I apply it. What are the steps? Also, how do you tell it the crop size you want?

Do you have events selected?
The crop size is determined by project settings.

oops. thanks! that was it. So you specify the size in the properties there and then you use the script ...

I was cropping each event without using video properties so that never came to mind.

now how do you use widescreen and still maintain black bars if you resize the video properties?
