Matching Video and audio timelines

For the life of me I can not do this. I must be missing something basic. My proplem is I bring down a set of pictures. Then I add a few songs. Well the 2 time line events don't match (of course). Isn't there a simple way to sync the two so they end at the same time. In ProGold there was a simple button you pushed and it did it. Can't find that in Vegas Studio Movie Plat 9.0. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Select all the pictures. There are several ways to do this. You could click the first, then shift click the last. Or you could use the selection too and drag a rectangle across them. Or you can right-mouse-button click on the first then choose select events to end.

Press G to group them.

Hold the Ctrl-key down and drag the end of the last picture to line up with the end of the music.

Ending at the same time is not "synced" unless they also start at the same time.
