Matrox G550 or ATI Radeon

Would you recommend a Matrox G550 or an ATI Radeon for dual monitor and VV3 with XP on a P4?

I've bought a 550 and will be installing it on my XP P4 Asus P4B266 next week. I'll try to return here and let you know how it went.

I asked around on various forums and some people came across problems with the Matrox G550, but not the G450. Seems people thought it was a bit resource hungry especially with the second monitor hooked up. In the end I'm getting an ATI fitted and should get it next week.

The G550 may work well on your machine but perhaps it's worth testing thoroughly.

Let us know how it is and I'll test the ATI too.
