Matrox Support

Can Sony find a way to work with Matrox? I just bought a new system that included the Matrox RT.x100 Xtreme Pro, and only Adobe Premier can access it's advantages. I think Premier lacks to what Vegas can offer as far as ease of use, and creativity. My preview window needs to bee on the lowest setting (draft auto), and it sux. Is Matrox an Adobe partner or exclusive to them? What can I do?

Why'd you buy the Matrox if you didn't intent to use Premiere (not being mean, just asking)?. They've mostly support premiere for years. Also, if you got a new system & your Vegas preview windows needs to be in draft to watch it, you have other problems. :)

You could see if you could take it back & get a nice Analog-Digital converter. That would be very useful.

That's what I get for not reading thoroughly. Oh well, guess I gotta learn Premier... crap.

Thanks for the reply... helped... a bit...

What are your system specs? The only real advantage of a RT system is that you don't need a system really really powerful to do some things in RT (as opposed o render).

I run V4 on an AMD XP 1800 with 512mb RAM & it runs fine. Preview skips durring some things, but durring normal work it doesn't (didn't skip on my P3-667 eigther)
