MB Looks: Can't copy/paste event attributes

I installed the new magic bullet suite V12 and I use the Magic Bullet looks.

In V12 and V13 once you apply an effect to a clip, I normally do a "copy" then select another clip and do a "paste event attributes", with this new MB version, I don't see the effects added to the clip..the FX chain is there but just no effect.

With the same V12 & V13 vegas, I still have my old MB suite 11 and it works just perfectly (I can copy and paste to other clips).

Anyone have any alternate solutions to this problem? (The only way is for me to go back in MB, look for the effect and apply it...faster with copy/paste)

This is a well-documented bug here. One workaround is to save a look within MB and then apply it to each desired event. PITA, I know.

Another workaround is to apply the MB Look at the track level. Most of what I edit is quite amenable to this workaround because events on my timeline are pretty consistent in lighting, etc.

Perhaps others could chime in with their ideas.

If there are particular looks that you use often, you can create presets for them in Vegas (not in MBL), just as you would for any other effect.

MBL4.0.1 (build 1538) copy/paste is sort of working for me in VP14. Copying and pasting the event attributes to a new video clip doesn't work straight away, but if I open the VFX tab in the 2nd clip, open the Edit Looks tab to open MBL, then close MBL by either the X or tick, the MBL FX takes effect in the 2nd clip - nothing more than opening and closing MBL is necessary. A bit clunky but way better than MBL3 in VP13 where the copy/paste process didn't work at all.

Nope. Don't have to do any of that. Just COPY and PEA.

I've updated to looks 4 but still no luck.

My workaround is this:

Basically, making sure that you have 'keyframing' for strength of the effect turned on. Then clicking on videofx of the clip that update attributes to and then the timeline.

It also works in v13.

Hmm. Wish I could get PEA to work. I'm running MB 3 w VP 14. If the MB upgrade solve this bug, I'll buy right now :)
