Hi Guys

I have been reading that some of you guys are using the standalone Main Concept MPEG encoder v1.4 instead of the Vegas in-built mc encoder, because you are getting faster and better encodes. I have also bought the MC standalone encoder and did my first encode last night with the same settings at the vegas encoder, but it looked much worse than the vegas encoder!!! I also enabled the 2-pass option(by the way, what does that do exactly?). Is there something I'm missing in the setup?
