Heres the deal... I've been trying to track this down for a couple of weeks (after work/weekends etc).
_Captured vhs tape (60 to 80 mins)-AVI DV with Canopus ADVC-100 (near perfect - no dropped frames).
_Two Tracks in VV3.0c Video & Audio. Video FX - Broadcast color "Clamp" -- Audio FX - iZotope Ozone - small "tweakage".
_Rendered with Main Concept default MPEG2 NTSC DVD.
Up until about two weeks ago this didn't happen... at random points in the resulting file there will be a pixelated, multi-colored block (random sizes - but usually 1/4 to 1/3 of the frame width X 8 to 10 or so lines high). Sometimes there are 3 or 4 of them - sometimes only one. If I go back to the exact frames that are affected and re-render only those frames -- no blocks ! This only seems to happen during long (5 to 10 hour) renders. Bummer !
Any ideas ?
Clyde
Forgot to add ..these 'blocks' will last 1/2 to 1 sec.
