Media Chance - Who Uses It

VV users,

It was recommended to me to look at the software programs from Media Chance. I have to say for the cost of the programs I am very impressed with what they can do.

Has anybody else used their programs? What do you think.

I am not looking to replace Vegas for my NLE, but for the little things like picture enhancement or CD multimedia projects I believe their programs to be a good value.

They have some great Programs like Multimedia Builder, Real Draw, compact Draw and a few others that I can't rememeber the name, and they have a few that are not so great or need improvement like DVDLab.

Exactly, I was not impressed with DVD Lab, but Multimedia Builder is what caught my attention. I also like their photo programs. Simple, good and inexpensive.

Yeah, Multimedia Builder is an amazing program, I've been using it for the last few years. It's basically Director, but a LOT easier to use and work with. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is windows only and not cross-platform, but it is still an amazing program. I used to use Compact draw a lot and Real Draw, I have since upgraded to Photoshop CS so I don't have much use for them anymore. But I still keep them around and use them every once in a while.

I use Real-DRAW PRO all the time for making titles. You can easily create 2D titles that have 3D depth and lighting. I like it better than Paint Shop Pro because it doesn’t hassle me with thinking in layers. Everything I do is an object that is always editable forever. It also doesn’t hassle me about raster vs vector vs whatever. I can draw a vector and then paint on it like it was a bitmap, yet I can still manipulate the vector later. IMHO, it’s an ingenious design that other graphics programs could learn from.

I also have Photo-Brush and DCE AutoEnhancer but I use Real-DRAW PRO the most.

VV Users,

I need your help, Media Chances message forums are just not that active.

I am using Multimedia Buider and have created a descent piece to distribute. When I do so the video files do not play on other machines.

Can someone give me a step by step in how to distribue a MME file with video incorporated in it. So it does play across the different machines.

Thanks in advance,

Chad

DCE Autoenhance is truly one of the best photo programs out there. It does an amazing job of correcting and enhancing digital pics but its filter simulator is to die for, You can make some incredible artistic efects with them. This program is better than Photoshop.
