Media Generated Elipse Question

Why is the media generated elipse so quirky as far as placement. It disappears in some areas of the screen and is very hard to size as I need it. I have played with all the "lock aspect ratio and stretch to fill screen options" It seems that this very usefull option to highlight things should be more user friendly. Mart H. if you know please tell me, I am stuck and this is the easiest way to deal witht the previous questions I had on how to highlight things.

I'm not sure why this is misbehaving... it is working here.

You could try making a ring/circle/ellipse somewhat smaller than you need and position it on the area, then maybe use track motion to zoom into the circle a bit to size it?

I must be missing somthing. Basically when the elipse goes off the elipse genrating screen ( The checkered box) it corresponds to being off the preview window, and I need it to go further. It basically runs out of room. Am I missing a setting? This will work great for what I want if I could fix this. It happens in VV3 and VV4 so it's me not the program.

I got it. I need to move it like you said with track motion or pan-crop. Thanks for the help.
