Media Generator

In Vegas Pro 9, select generated media, solid color and drag a solid color to the timeline. A window opens showing color choices along with keyframes so you can change the color over time.

My wife has two work stations at work with VP 8b installed. One works the same way as my VP9 with the keyframe timeline for changing the color over time. The other one doesn't and neither does my VP8b here at home. Anyone know how to get the keyframe line to show on the ones that are missing it. I tried the CTL/SHIFt to reset defaults but to no avail.

I tried your example in 8.0c and the keyframing / timeline is visable and works as expected. I haven't got a copy of 9 to test...

Have you tried opening the window a little more on the EFFECTS window. (place your cursor over the edge until it changes to an arrow and draw the size of the window bigger)

the keyframing section is there, it's just been minimized. put your mouse near the bottom edge and slide it back up.

You're right - I found it in the Sony FAQ's. It was just collpsed to the bottom. The double line cursor allowed me to drag it back up. Thanks all for helping the dummy.
