Media Generator Help Needed

Stebu wrote on 6/15/2016, 9:18 PM
I'm using VP9. To move text across the screen I would place it at the desired location and use the Keyframes to indicate start, move and end.
The Keyframes within the Placement window are suddenly gone.
I need some advise how to get the Keyframes back into the Placement window to move the text across the screen.
Thanks for your help.

The Keyframes within the Placement window are suddenly gone.Explain in more detail: Before you placed them? During placing them? Reopening? At what point in your editing where they gone?

Some screen-grabs would help.

Grazie, thanks for your reply.
I have a hard time placing copies of the screen onto this forum. Maybe the enclosed attachment does it ?!

The point I am making is that the kind of 'Transport Controls' underneath the placement window is gone. Instead I am seeing above the window a square showing 'Free Form' (or wherever you want to place your text) however, without the keyframe ability like i.e. in Pan/Crop I cant move the text across the screen.

I thought perhaps that the change/ replacing the 'transport control /w. keyframes to 'Free Form' etc came from switching from Windows 7 to 10 but I converted back to 7 and it is still ... not the same anymore ?
I appreciate your advise.

Do you see a button that says ANIMATE in the lower left of the screen? Click on that for your timeline and keyframes.

DonaldT, unfortunately I dont see an ANIMATE button in the lower left of the screen / in the Text windows like Edit, Placement, Properties or Effect.
The 'Keyframe Animation' is gone from my "Placement" window and I dont know how to move the text across.

I think you have that section closed temporarily. Try carefully rolling your Mouse cursor over the bottom Edge of the Control Pane - slowly. It will change to a double headed Icon. When it does that Drag it upwards. It looks greyed-out at present, it should change.

Sebu, I've reproed your issue here. VP9 doesn't have that ANIMATE button. Here I've "closed" the KeyFrame T/L: See here:

Now with it PULLED open all is revealed again:
