media management

Looking for suggestions on handling media.

When I record a narration, e.g., in Vegas, then cut together a final version of the narration, I'd like to save in one folder all the clips I used and in another folder, all the rejects, just for safety's sake.

Has anyone come up with a good procedure for this?

BTW, I've kept away from media manager for various reasons. Does this tool help with this?

Do a search in Help for "Saving and Renaming a Project (Save As)." This check box will allow you to save your project with the trimmed media to a folder of your choice. Your original files are not affected, so you have both.
