After some days living with my new system and Vegas 7c, it's obvious that Media Manager makes my system (Core 2 Duo, XP sp2) slow down and freeze when the service starts for the first time (each morning). Since the Media manager uninstall, i have no more problem.
I did'nt get a solution for this yet but i wanted to share the information :
take a look at the Windows event log utility and you will clearly see the culprit: MSSQL$SONY_MEDIAMGR.
After having read so much users complaints about Media manager stablililty in the past, it's a big deception for my that Sony do not seems to be able to make it works safely.
