I searched for a related topic, and have emailed Sony, but haven't heard back:

I am not seeing tags in the media manager window until I mouse over them. (Labels for categories in Media manager - video, camera angle, etc). I am wondering if this is an issue with Vegas 6.0c, or my system. This is a new PC - WinXP Pro SP2, Matrox Millenium P650 with PowerDesk running (i.e. things I'm thinking might be related).

I've seen some other unexpected anomalies with my system's visual settings (losing the desktop theme and systems sounds being turned back on sometimes when I startup for the day), and am trying to determine what might be related and narrow this down.
