Running V9b and I can see my properties pane after I reveal it with a mouse/drag of the right edge of the search results window in Media Manager.

Thanks Erik, thanks for getting back.

Blast, mine doesn't - and it used to!

I'll try again in the morrow . .. .

Whaddya know? I got the Properties pane back! Excellent!

But now I have a return of the RED Frames in Trimmer . . . but if I scrub in Trimmer, the video returns.

TAXI!

So, the properties pane returned after closing and reopening a few times?

Grazie,

Back when you were having the problem, my MM was just fine.

Then, out of nowhere, the same problem appeared - NO Properties tab!

Anyone has a proven method of getting it back?

While waiting for your vein, Grazie -

- I've just had a funny thing happening here; I almost panicked!

What I did was re-create the Reference Library; it took ages (I had to kill it), but it ALSO took ALL my free disk space on the SYSTEM drive!

So had a crash; rebooted, still some "low disk space" message; fired Vegas, opened MM - boom!

- Vista reports some 12,5 GB of the lost space BACK!

Strange and scary. But still no Properties tab!

Hello,

Regarding the properties pane it's been a long time I haven't faced this issue. When this occured, I had some chance to get it back, sometime it would definitively not. I was used to detach the MM window from the dock then maximize it on the screen (either primary or secondary) and close vegas. Doing this way I was able to drag with the mouse in order to get it.

I believe that from time, MM records funny geometry which is being recalled for further sessions. Infortunately when it's really out of bounds you're out of luck and have to try several attach/detach/maximise/exit and vegas restart, with or without success.

It's one of the glitches MM has... IMHO, the worse is the blatant memory leak in the thumbnail chooser code. It gives you a straightforward way to crash Vegas in one minute. The "lethal" feature of MM SCS doesn't care about.
