Media Manager will not install

Hi,
I am in need of help getting media manager to install. I have just installed first, Vegas 6.oc and then update 6.od. Media Manger when trying to load displays the following message. Media manager will be unavailable, Microsoft’s SQL server desk top engine setup failed to configure.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem will be much appreciated.

Make sure you have Microsoft .net 1.1 installed.

Thanks, Microsoft .net 1.1 installed appears to be on my computer. Any other suggestion?

Is Service Pack 1 for Framework installed as well?
And I think the latest version of DirectX 9 needs to be there as well.

Both are installed, I can't seem to find Microsoft SQL Server engine (Sony-Mediamgr) Any suggestion?
