Memory leak VV3 WinMe

I noticed a decrease in available memory using VV3. I am using following system:

ASUS V133 MB
Duron 800
256 MB Ram
WinME

I am using ASUS PC Probe to monitor the resources. Before starting VV3 the system has ~160 MB free. After opening and closing a few projects and restarting VV3 a few times the available memory steadily decreases to the point that no physical memory is available.

Is this a general VV3 problem or may this related to a specific configuration problem?

Cheers, DKW

Hello,

Click Start>Programs>Accesories>System Tools>System Information and open that prog, Then click Tools>System Config Utility, then click Systemini tab, click plus mark on VCACHE, Then add these 2 lines:
MINFILECACHE=2048
MAXFILECACHE=2048

Then close and restart your machine, and that should take care of your memory not refreshing.
You can experiment with larger VCACHE settings in increments of 1024, just keep both min and max values the same.

See ya, Rockit
