Menu - Cannot Change Background/Buttons

I created a movie in Vegas and rendered to DVDA. I set the chapters and finished the movie. Next I added a background/buttons and selected the buttons to be "text only."

The text was quite small so I resized the text boxes. Clicked "Made DVD" and when I put it in my DVD player, realized I did not rezise three of the buttons. Went back to the PC, resized the buttons, and made the DVD again. The button size did not change and it was way too small to read on the TV.

So decided to start over with the menu. I selected a different background/buttons and have that set exactly as I want it. The problem I ran into is that even with saving ("save as" command) and the movie previewing correctly, the original (incorrect) menu is the one that shows up on the DVD. I tried 3 times.

Any suggestions on how I can change the menu background/buttons and have the change actually take effect? I've never had this happen before. You'll see from posts in recent months I had difficulty learning how to create menus and last night was the first time I had success on the first try with the menus! Now I've hit another snag since I can't change the menu.

Thanks

You have to "prepare" the project again. Merely "burning" the previously prepare project, or merely "saving" the DVDA project isn't sufficient.

You must prepare ...

Thanks, though turns out the problem was solved simply by rebooting the computer. I shut it down for the night and when I got back to the project today, it created it just fine, the menu looks great.

But I'll keep the prepare tip in my memory bank for future projects. At least I feel I now have the hang of creating a menu, something I was able to do this time without looking at my cheat notes!

Thanks again.
