Menu tab font size

Lordson-Won wrote on 9/11/2020, 1:35 AM

The font size of the menu tab names in Vegas pro 18 is too small.

This wasn't until earlier versions, but in Vegas pro 18 the menu name text is too small.

On the vegas pro 17 screen, the Transitions, Video FX and Media Generator menu names and the names of the filters in it are large, whereas on the Vegas pro 18 screen, the Transitions, Video FX and Media Generator menu names and the filter names in them are very small.

For example, the name font size of the plug-ins in the Vegas pro 18 Transitions menu is very small. The names of filters in the Video FX menu are also very small.

What should I do?

Check Options/Preferences/Display to see if either of the 2 High DPI scaling options are checked. If yes, try unchecking the option/s and see if that helps. It's hard to know if this is the issue as it wasn't stated whether your display is HD or 4K.

I can't solve it with the method you told me about.

The menu font size of the Project Media and Explorer tab menus is normal, whereas the menu font size of the Transitions, Video FX, and Media Generator tab menus is small.

What is the problem?

Try reducing the screen resolution, I have my 4k display for the programs set to 1920x1080p . I also increased the DPI setting can make thinks larger for my leas-than-perfect eyes. Both will affect everything on that display though

I have exactly the same problem as Lordson-Won. I got 1920x1080 monitor and didn't changed anything in system settings or so. My systems is Windows 10 + Nvidia GTX1060. All other apps works perfectly fine but in Vegas Pro 18 there are those micro fonts almost unreadable. Something is definitely wrong.

I have the same problem and I don't know how to fix it in Vegas Pro 18.0
Please find a solution ! The menu tab font is too small un transitions, video effects and media generator.

Windows 10 64bit, dual screen 1920x1080 each

A recent update to Build 527 did not resolve this issue.

Have you tried changing the "high DPI" setting in "Options> Preferences> Display"

There is another DPI setting in the <.exe> (or shortcut's) "Properties> Compatibility"

I do not know if either will help though in this case.

It seems that Magix products workspace is designed for 50+ inch monitors and folks with better-than-perfect eye site.

This is the right answer!
I'm using a 4k monitor and I can finally see everything properly!

Thank you very much.
