menu works on preview only sorta kinda

I built a menu with 3 chapters and it all works great in the preview window but when i burn a DVD it auto starts the DVD and no menu appears. (this is in a DVD tv player.
With my computer DVD player same thing happens but i can find a menu button on my computer player and it will show the menu then. then it works just fine... all buttons work right - it loops right - music works menu - I want it to auto start the menu on a tv dvd player?

using DVDA 4.5 studio
used vegas 8 pro to mpeg2 with AC3 for audio

In the Project Overview window, select the Menu page, then click the purple box with the star that says "Set Disc Start."

This tells the dvd player to go right to the menu when the disc is inserted.
