It is not an error, it is a limit. You will need to decrease your total menu size to bring it under the 1 gig limit. Basically, shorten your menu's or take some of them out would be the easy solutions.

Also, if you use the search feature for this forum, this has been addressed in the past.
Hope I didn't miss your point and this points you in the right direction.
jrazz,
No, you have helped me out a great deal. This is where I'm stuck at! How do I delate or shorten the menu's. Thank you for the search info I will use it. Thanks.
1. Make sure that you did not accidentally set your video as your background.
2. If you did not do that... take your background media file and open it in Vegas. (open Vegas, make a new file and find the file that you want to use as a background(s) and drag it to the timeline. Find a place that would be a good cycle point (20 seconds or less is usually good for a menu that is video), click on that part of the clip, hit "s" to split the track in two, then delete the second portion. Rerender and import it back into DVDA- this should take care of your issue.
3. if cutting your clip is not an option, you might want to adjust the bitrate, do a two pass encode and export it that way (search the forum for bitrate calculator)- you will still have to reencode.
