Merging & Recompress problem... please help!!

Hello,
I need to join two Mpeg2 files. I created them both with V5 using the DVD Architect template. I need to join them for my project. I know I could just put them together in DVDA2 but in this case they need to be in one file.
To join them I use Tmpgenc, but now when I go to DVDA2 it tells me that they need to be recompressed.
Quality is a must in this project so I can't afford to recompress it cause the Quality decreases too much.
1. Is there a way to force DVDA to just record them in the DVD without recompressing?
2. Does anybody know another way to join them without losing quality (no re-render)
3. If somebody knows well Tmpgenc, maybe there's a way to merge them so that the final file is still DVDA2 compliant (I'm new to tmpgenc).

Any help would be really appreciated
Regards
E.

Well, I tried to do it in TMPGEnc just now, but the resulting file came out all black when I put it into DVDA, and then DVDA (3.0) froze. This same joined plays fine in WinDVD. I normally use Womble's products to join MPEGs and AC-3 files. Works great, although they are a little expensive given that they really don't do much except join MPEG files.
