Merging sfvidcap files?

Frenchy wrote on 9/17/2003, 9:40 AM
Subject line pretty much says it all.

I have one sfvidcap file for most of my captures/logs. I accidently created a second one with info which I would now like to have in the first file. I don't want to manually re-log info, if I can help it.

Is there a way to C&P from one sfvidcap file to a second file?

Is there a way to combine/merge the two sfvdicap files?

Frenchy - I was waiting for someone a bit more techie minded than I to have a go . . I'll have a stab at it in the morning.

It's now 7:00pm here in London, time to go off to the pub for a beer!

Grazie

Thanks Grazie - Have a cold one for me (or do all brits drink their beers at room temperature?)

P.S. and OT - Have you ever resolved your MPEG encoding "jitters" from a couple of months back?

No way to merge vidcap files, sorry.

Thanks Dave, for the reply. I didn't think there was, but had to ask.

Are there any thoughts to tweak the vidcap app in future upGRADES? No big changes, just adding a few more functions -

1. Merging, as asked here;

2. Adding scripting capability;

3. Ability to Cut & Paste/export .sfvidcap info (other than as a graphic) to other apps - i.e. Excel, Lotus, or even as ASCII text.

Thanks again
