About the directwire and Vegas.
Do you see more than 4 inputs in Vegas ? The 4 physical inputs and 2 virtual inputs ? I need to record 4 mics and 2 virtual synths on 6 tracks... is that possible ?

And soundquality wise, what do you think of the card.

Hey Nat;

In Vegas along with WamiRack 24 you have either 4 stereo inputs or 8 mono ones. This is what I see in my system when I record using Vegas. My directwire (I am using driver 3.80) shows me 8 ins as well as 8 outs on all driver types (ASIO, MME, Multi MME and GSIF).

Make sure you choose Windows classic wave driver in the audio tab of your Vegas preferences. Hope this helps.

Great so all in all it means you can record more than 4 tracks at a time, example for mics and 2 asio soft synths router to MME ?
