Message Missing

I am a new user of Vegas 8. I have been working on a project shot with a Panasonic HDC-HS9. The files would not open in Vegas, so I opened them in the Panasonic software and converted them to mpeg2 format and everything was going fine. Today I went to open my project which has about one hundred scenes that I have saved quite regularly as I extend the program. Anyway I opened it this morning and got an error (0x80070008) missing message and I can no longer do anything with the program I am currently working with. Any ideas or is ten hours or so of editing down the tubes?

I have never seen that message in Vegas but a quick google turns up that code as not enough memory.

Maybe you could post your PC specs?

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate on an Intel 2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66Ghz per core and I have 4 Gig of Ram. Two high speed 500 gig Seagate harddrives. The program is on C drive with storage on E drive.

I would suggest re-seating the memory. Sounds like some of your 4GB RAM is AWOL.
