Are you talking about the MASTER track on Vegas timeline? It has nothing to do with MS Mapping.

Oh it doesn't? Well then, I literally that was the problem. Any way you know how to remove the master track entirely?

It can be hidden, but not eliminated. 'View> Audio Bus Tracks', Keyboard command: B .

There's also a master/aux bus window: 'View> Mixer' and a Mixing Console in View.
