Midi Clock tempo - how to set?

I'm trying to get Vegas Pro to be in sync with my Korg
Electribe ER-1 drum machine. I've set "MIDI Clock" ON in
Vegas, and set the Electribe to Ext (to be a slave). I'm
using a SoundBlaster "AudioPCI" for MIDI out (and a Delta 66
to record; wish the Delta 66 had a MIDI interface in it).

When I hit record in Vegas, the drum machine starts, but I
always get the same, fixed tempo/BPM - and I have absolutely
no clue where this is getting set in Vegas. It seems to be
about 120 BPM, always; making Vegas unuseable for me.

What are my options? I noticed Vegas has Midi Time Code
generation, but there doesn't seem to be a tempo
specification there either (besides 'frame rate'). Do I need
to buy a separate hardware MTC generator or MIDI clock
generator and stripe tracks in Vegas to get things how I
want them?

I can start/stop when I like by pressing record on Vegas, so
in that sense it works, but Vegas overrides the tempo I have
set on the drum machine. That would be fine if every song I
wrote had the same tempo.

Please Help!

- X.

Solved my own problem. MIDI Clock is set under the project preferences
under Ruler (File->Preferences...). The documentation within the
software, even at the lowest keyword search in the product, never
brought this up when I searched for "tempo", "midi clock", etc.
