What is the Midi tab for in Vegas preferences?

Can Vegas record from a midi keyboard?

If so, how do you do it?

Vegas needs the midi connections for the HUI deviices that control various functions in Vegas, and that's it. You COULD map a midi keyboard to control functions in Vegas if you wanted to, I suppose. Never tried it. You'd also have to map the keyboard. I've mapped the Oxygen keyboard for volume/pan controls, etc. but nothing further.
