Hi all,
I've messed around, and done some searching but haven't found a clear answer. Just wondering if there's a way to program FX sliders, colour wheels etc (with reasonably high resolution) using dials on a control surface? Ideally I'd want to drop a video effect on the timeline like levels, or colour corrector (in Pro 17) and then just be able to turn dials to tune key parameters in the active FX window. I know I can use the mouse wheel (and Ctrl) but it still is a bit tedious compared to hardware options available in Resolve, Premiere etc which support control surfaces like the Tangent, AVID and BMD panels.
I've seen talk of using joysticks and generic MIDI controllers here for some things but my mouse+keyboard+contour shuttle already work well for most of the editing operations, it's just fiddly to mouse around multiple high-resolution slider adjustments in the FX
Thanks!
