What you call "basic MIDI Sequencing" - quantize, piano roll edit,
velocity, pitch, etc - is a lot of work!

Is there any way to catch the output of my sound card when its playing
a midi file to generate a .wav file that I can the add into Sonic
Foundry´s ACID ?

I notice that Digi has tossed the gauntlet down by adding MIDI
features to ProTools. I'm still quite happy using an outboard
sequencer with Vegas. If you do decide to cave in to the mounting
pressure, I would ask that you make it optional in some way so as not
to interfere with the clean interface you now have.
