Minor Issue while Installation of VEGAS Pro Suite 365

Actually, this issue i faced several times before too. but i never raise because it is not a error or bug inside VEGAS operations.

it was just little time consuming.

So, this is happening

As I had already installed VP22 and Deep Learning on my PC.

and for getting other tools. I started this setup.

It downloaded all setups and start installing.

In case of VP22 & Deep learning, it should skip installation for both because of already installed or it should first uninstall them both then install downloaded setups for both.

but it removes VP22 and then it gives the process CHECK ✔️ and move forward to next setup.

Similarly, It remove deep learning and move ahead.

In case of Mocha, it shows "there is no compatible software installed" which is normal.

but it didn't install VP22 and Deep learning.

I will have to install them again by same this setup or installed setups

but it doesn't do this job automatically.

With installers that offer a number of programs - including with other companies - the idea is to only check the programs that you want to install - which would mean unchecking programs that you don't want to install because they are already installed or you don't want to install them. This is why the checkboxes are there.

To do what you are seeking to happen, there will be a huge problem with installing an update because the installer may not identify that Vegas Pro is already installed and thus not install the update. To get an update installed, users may have to first manually uninstall the existing installation before being able to install the update.

If you go to the Windows Control Panel>Programs and Features, you will see that there is a separate installation for Mocha Vegas. That has to be uninstalled.

i know those solution already.

just was pointing out this issue.

because in many software it is normal if you will install an updated version, it will automatically uninstall old and install newer version.

this is a normal behavior of updating a software.

otherwise there is always option of manual uninstall & install new updates.

VEGAS should work on this issue too even it is minor.

I agree. I guess I am just used to doing things that way. It should be a "one click" update for the user who doesn't know these things.
