Missed or added frames

Hi

This is one more stupid question from extremely unexperienced user.

I did everything as been advised by guys in this forum. Capture analogue through TRV11 to AVI. Pass it through NRF (VirtualDub) filter using Panasonic codec. Edit (just remove bits here and there) with Vegas.

After rendering most of my cut points moved 1 frame. Sometimes forward sometimes back. In couple cases it look ugly.

What did I do wrong this time?

did you preview before rendering and looked fine?, Any velocity envelope-slow down or speed up?.

I did preview in preview window (frame by frame). (Is that what you mean? Probably not... Then it is something I have to learn). Then Render as... to PAL mpeg. After render finished I've opened in second Vegas (running in parallel with my project) and find that most split points (I've checked them by frame number and by time code in Vegas preview window, but initially discovered in MS Media Player) moved.

Definitely NO any 'advanced' features. NO envelopes, no even crossfadings just straight split and then remove bits I don’t like with auto cropping (did I spell it right) tool on.

I just forget to say before it is PAL project.

Could it be somehow related to 'interlace' (I still don't have understanding of it, but it looks to me that it is related to the fact that everything redrawing twice)? (I'm sure that comment will cause good laugh to many of you).

Thank in advance.
