Missing Fit Audio compilation to slideshow.

When building the Music/Video Compilation from the main menu, it makes no difference when I place either photo images then music file or vice versa. The music file sets off by itself apart from the rest of the image files. Under the compliation tab the icons starting from from left to right I have the plus sign then X the 2 counter and clockwise rotations and last the thumbnail size. I this software corrupted because it worked in a previous project. If I reinstall will I lose this current project I spent several hours on?
Runs on WIN XP SP3 w/dual processing and 4 gb ram, several hard drives.

Music/Video compilations work differently than Picture compilations, travtek.

With Picture compilations, you can extend your music behind several pictures.

With a Music/Video compilations, you can only put one audio/video clip after another.

Hi Steve,
You were right. It WAS the wrong project type chosen. Once I chose the correct one everything falls into place! To think I spent money on a training video that gave me misinformation. Ugh!
