Missing 'My Products' section & AV1 Frame Rate Cap (VEGAS Pro 23 Steam

Hello,

I am a user of VEGAS Pro 23 Steam Edition, but I am facing two critical issues that are preventing me from working.

1. The 'My Products' section is completely missing from my account. On my MAGIX account page (ID: email redacted), the 'My Products' category does not exist at all. I cannot see my software or manage my license.

2. AV1 Frame Rate is capped at 30fps in the Steam version. Currently, with the Steam-installed version, I am unable to set the AV1 encoding frame rate higher than 30fps. As an owner of an RTX 5080, I need to render at much higher frame rates, but the Steam version is restricting this.

My Request: I want to download the standalone installer directly from the MAGIX website to solve these technical limitations. However, since the 'My Products' section is missing, I cannot access the official download links or serial numbers.

Details:

MAGIX Account ID: email redacted

Steam Transaction ID: removed

Status: Sent emails to support 3 days ago, but no response.

Could a moderator please update my account so the 'My Products' section appears and I can download the official version? I have a tight schedule for new game releases and need to resolve this immediately.

Thank you.

The activation and registration processes for Vegas Pro purchased from Steam and MAGIX are completely different and separate (Steam versions don't have a serial number) and Steam registration data is not transferred to the customer's MAGIX My Account and thus a MAGIX serial number does not get created. This issue was addressed many years ago by the Vegas team on Steam's General Discussion's forum: https://steamcommunity.com/app/528200/discussions/0/1746720717333750659/

the steam version license is coupled to steam and can only be used with steam. You are welcome to contact us via e-mail at contactus@magix.net and we will find a satisfactory solution.

Kind regards
Your VEGAS team

@lee-mujin There are slight differences between the Steam and Vegas versions such as Steam only allows one instance of VP to be open at the same time.

But I wouldn't expect the AVI frame rate to be different. Please could a user with the ordinary VP23 see if this is a problem for them. Possibly it's a bug?
