Mixing Formats in a video

I would like to combine video from 2 cameras into one video. One camera shoots in 1080p @ 60 fps or 1080i @ 30 fps and it saves in H.264/AVC in a M2TS stream. The other camera shoots in 1080p @ 30 fps and saves in H.264/AVC in a .MOV stream.

So what would be the best way to combine this footage? Stick with 1080p and combine the 30 fps and 60 fps footage or stick with 30 fps and combine the 1080p and 1080i footage? Or something entirely different?

The software is Vegas Movie Studio Platinum v. 9.0b (Build 92). The cameras are a Panasonic HDC-TM700K and a Drift Innovation HD170.

Thanks!

Pete

Your common denominator here is 1080-30p.
All the formats you mentioned "should" work just fine there.
I think you will need to disable resampling.
A search of the Pro forum will lead you to more discussion.
