When I am adding small narration audio files to my project the monitor picture cuts in and out during playback making it impossible to sync. I'm using a Canon XM1(GL1) to route back to the monitor, generally it works fine during playback. If it's a performance issue my PC is getting a bit long in the tooth, it has 1.2ghz AMD,1280 ram, both HD's are fine @ 7200rpm it usually performs well in all other video editing tasks so that may not be the issue. Well, you guy's normally come up with the goods so here is hoping.
