Monitoring output

I have been with Vegas Pro since verion 4 and love the work flow. I also edit on Grass Valley Edius and feel the realtime output through the HD Spark card can't be beat for knowing how the video will actually look (not going out through the video card). Is there any card available that would show actual video imagery like the HD Spark card does in Edius?
I've hear Black Magic, but in looking into it, it doesn't really seem to the answer with compatibility issues.

Anyone at all? I could really use some insight on this before I consider abandoning Sony Vegas after all these years.

Getting output monitoring in Vegas is very easy - you can set up a dedicated out preview card...it will be all be 8bit regardless of what pipeline you think the bits are flowing or what your monitor credentials purport.
