More obvious selections in Vegas

If this is already known to some, sorry, but I've been looking for it for a long time.

It's always been annoyingly hard for me to see when an event is selected, especially when I'm zoomed out on the timeline. I finally found a setting in the Internal Preferences (Event Selection Outline Thickness) which increases the border around selected events from the default of 0 (i.e. NO border; why is that the default?!?!?) to whatever. I chose a border of 6, and now when I select an event(s) there is a big fat blue border around it making it obvious what's selected no matter how I'm zoomed on the timeline.

Yippee!

What does "Internal Preferences" refer to...?

To get to Internals:
Hold SHIFT while opening Preferences.

CAUTION
Making an error in here could kill your Vegas settings, hence the reason you don't find this in the owners manual or in many places. You easily could end up having to reset or reinstall Vegas. It's like the registry of Vegas, to put it in simple terms. There is a lot you can do with Vegas in there, but there is even more you can mess up.

Also: To reset all aspects of the app to factory defaults hold ctrl+shift during app start.

Will that also return the Track Motion preset dropdown...?

I still can't believe that's not returning in any updates...
