Most expedient file type for VMS?

Hi,

Due to the issues I'm having with DivX .AVI files in VMS 10, I was wondering what file type is the easiest and smoothest to edit with? Any help would be appreciated.

Use mpeg streamclip (free) and the free avid DNxHD codec to transcode your files. These files are much easier to edit for Vegas.
