HARDWARE:

CPU: i7-9700k

GPU: RTX 2070 Super

RAM: 16 GB DDR4 2666 mHz

OS: Windows 10 Home (64-bit)

INFORMATION REQUESTED:

Hi, I am aware that many creators use Vegas Pro for their high-framerate recordings. Since Vegas Pro is a little pricey, I was wondering if Movie Studio Platinum had the same motion blur settings as Vegas Pro. I record Minecraft PvP gameplay for my YouTube channel, and Hitfilm Express just isn't cuttin' it. Most editing softwares either struggle with 1080p360 footage or don't have the motion blur effect. Thanks for your time.

There is no motion blur option in Movie Studio, but even what Vegas Pro calls "Motion Blur" isn't a real motion blurring but somewhat like frame blending. You would need an additional plug-in.

Okay, thank you. How much is the plug-in?

Duplicate the video on a track above original, slip the duplicate by one frame, and adjust the opacity until it looks good to you. Voila motion blur with no plug-in.

This then would be what you get when you use Vegas Pro's core "Motion Blur". This is not motion blurring.
