Do you already have Flash?
I tend to use Sorenson Squeeze or Adobe Media Encoder but Flash will import/transcode it.

HI,

I have installed Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX but to play FLV or SWF files I use HaiHaiSoft Universal Flash Player. Does it mean I have already Flash ?

Sorenson is out of my budget. I mean about cheap tools about max 20$. I'm not sure if I understand properly Adobe Media Encoder - I think this soft is for streaming. I just need to convert one file to use it on my www project as an animated logo with transparent background. I'm going to buy www and supplier told me that if I want to use animation with alpha I need to send him FLV. Normally I'm totally out of things like Flash, running with camcorder in mountains...

Best regards,

Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX - is a 'Viewer'. It allows you to view Flash that others have created. You need Flash CS4 to create your file.

Adobe Media Encoder comes with Flash and any of the Adobe Suites or Video apps. It is used to Encode, Transcode, or output different file types (same as Squeeze). You are looking to change a QT w/ Alpha to an FLV w/ Alpha and it would be simple if you had Flash --> Flash w/ Alpha. Squeeze also allows you to do this.

You may need something like this for your workflow though Flash w/ Alpha.

Hi,

Thank You, I had found Moyea and have tested it - there are some minute bugs (like lack of possibility to rescale watermark video properly (just to 999 pixels, so 1280x720 can't be used) or Vista message that soft is not running properly and will be switched to XP mode) but this soft is doing what I want. I have preserved ALPHA form MOV in both : SWF and FLV file.

I envy Adobe CS4 but from my view point it is product not for small content/advertisement agency - rather product for very big and fat corporation. Those small tools like MOV2FLV or SWF2AVI are cheap and usable but mostly they can't copy with FLASH 8 + ALPHA. Moyea can.

Best regards,

I'm not sure what problems you are having, but the Moyea player works just fine here and I've tested my videos on IE, Firefox and Opera. (Including h.264 with Alpha). I am using a quad-core PC running 64-bit Win7 and have never had to switch to XP mode for Moyea or any other SW.
