Move Studio 12 Platinum update serial number?

MS12 Plat won't start yet again. Nearly everytime I have to start Quicktime to enable it to start but not this time.
I updated it with Build 879 64 bit from the link provided by admin at the top of this topic page. However this has updated to MS13 Plat and is asking for a serial number starting 1ST- which I do not have.
The s/n on the disc in the boxed set MS12 Plat will not be accepted (starts 1SN-)
Please help, anyone!

I have just gone to "my account.my software" and the update link is for MS 12 Plat so I am now trying this.

MS13 is an upgrade not update, you have to buy it to get a serial number.

Not sure I understand. You now have *both* 12 and 13 installed?

Is 12 the latest UPDATE? (check the webpage) and it now still does not work? Did it start giving you problems after an update, or just all of a sudden?
